FAQ

The answers to your most commonly asked questions about my dog training services.

Where do sessions take place?

I normally recommend clients come to me. My home is north of Harlow, near Eastwick, with a dedicated training space that backs onto private farmland and has equipment on hand. I can also travel to you — we can discuss what works best when you get in touch.

Is there a call out fee?

I work across Hertfordshire and the surrounding area. If you are outside my usual travel zone, a call-out fee may apply. This will be discussed when you book a consultation.

Do I need to have a big garden to train my dog?

No this isn't necessary for our sessions. If you don't have a garden; we can meet at a local park or field.

Does it matter how old my dog is?

You can train a dog at any age, starting from 12 weeks old. The training will be adapted to suit your dog's needs.

If I am unable to do the training myself, does that matter?

If you are unable to practice training with your dog yourself for health reasons or time constraints I can train your dog for you. However it will only be successful if it is followed through at home.

What are the advantages of one to one dog training?

Tailor made training to suit you and your dog, you can choose what you want to teach your dog.

If I have more than one dog, can I still do dog training?

Yes, you can bring a maximum of two dogs per session. I can cater for group lessons of a maximum of four handlers with their dog.
